These were Gluten Free cupcakes, a buckwheat and rice flour mixture with some cinnamon and dark rum. I personalized these with Lauren's color of choice and the birthday girl's initial. Happy Birthday to my friend who didn't think she'd get to have birthday cakes!

Zany Birthday Cake

This was such fun to make! Thanks so much to my several assistants, first my 2year old wonderful daughter, then the lovely Mrs. Tiana! and her little assistant Noel! This cake was made special for a surprise birthday party, not the kind where the birthday person comes home and everyone is there, and yells "SURPRISE", but the kind where your crazy friends wait until you get home and then all pile up quietly outside your door and scare you half to death when you open it and see 30 people yelling at you. WHAT FUN!
